Pope Francis speaks on upcoming visit to Turkey with new ambassador from Ankara

The Pope met with the new ambassador of Turkey to the Holy See, Mehmet Paí§aci who conveyed the president's greetings.

During the private meeting, they spoke on the Pope's upcoming visit to Turkey, which takes place from November 28-30.

After presenting his delegation, the Turkish ambassador, who is Muslim, presented his wife and son. 

They gave Pope Francis a painting with inscriptions and various Muslim texts on love. 

The Pope thanked him for his visit, especially for one particular detail.

'Everytime you wish to come, know that you are at home. I am grateful for the pleasure of meeting your family, that says good things about you.�

Pope Francis will be the fourth Pontiff to visit Turkey, a country where 99% of the population is Muslim.
