This week, Pope Francis will meet with three heads of State. On Monday morning, he met the president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.
Presidents Heinz Fischer of Austria and Ollanta Humala of Peru will both visit the Pope on Thursday and Friday, respectively. On Tuesday he will receive the credentials of the new ambassador of Ireland to the Holy See, Emma Madigan.
On Friday, Pope Francis will meet with 5,000 people from the World Congress of Accountants at the Paul VI Audience Hall. The following day, he will meet with 4,000 members of the Italian Catholic Doctors Association, who are celebrating their 70th anniversary. ;
And as customary, on Wednesday he will join thousands for his weekly General Audience in St. Peter's Square and will also pray the Angelus with pilgrims on Sunday. ;
