From October 27 â?? 29, more than 100 representatives of movements against social exclusion will meet in Rome.

They represent farmers who have lost their land, exploited workers, the marginalized and immigrants. These groups say they work for the rights of the most disadvantaged, those lost in a system that no longer cares for the weakest.

'The themes that will be discussed are land, home and work. It's about fighting together and on a global scale to reclaim those three inalienable human rights.

The meeting was promoted by the Vatican and by Pope Francis, who will be present during the second day of meetings.

'He will actively participate, he will give an address as well as speak to the participants. He has said everything in Evangelii Gaudium, his apostolic exhortation. You don't have to interpret it too much, the message there is very clear. This system will go too far unless you put the brakes on. Human dignity is at risk around the world and many times the poorest sectors, the lowest ones, are the ones that can organize and present an alternative.

At the end of the meeting, a final declaration will be published and the Popular Movements Council will be established to coordinate their work.

Among the participants of the meeting will be Evo Morales, the president of Bolivia, who will not come as Head of State, but rather as representative of the indigenous movement. Joí£o Pedro Stedile from the Rural Workers without Land in Brazil Movement will also be present.
