During Sunday's Angelus prayer, Pope Francis talked about the importance of living out the Gospel. He called on Christians to be the salt of the earth and to not be watered-down Christians.

POPE FRANCIS
'It's sad to see watered-down Christians. It reminds me of watered-down wine. You don't know if they're Christians or if they're mundane. It's just like watered-down wine. You don't know if it's wine or just water. It's sad.â?

Reflecting on Sunday's Gospel reading, the Pope gave three practical tips to nurture one's faith. Just like on other occasions, he recommended that Christians carry a pocket sized Gospel and read a Bible passage every day.

POPE FRANCIS
'The Gospel, the Eucharist and prayer. Don't forget. The Gospel, the Eucharist and prayer. Thanks to these God given gifts, we can adapt- not to the world, but to Christ.

The Pope highlighted the need to respect and care for the environment. He also mentioned a soccer match for peace, that will be held in Rome on Monday evening. A long list of international soccer stars will play in the game, which is backed by Pope Francis and organized by an educational project called Scholas.

POPE FRANCIS
'Continue your work with children and youths. Promoting education, athletics and culture. I wish you good luck in tomorrow's match in Rome's Olympic Stadium.â?

Towards the end of the Angelus, a band attending the prayer, played for the thousands of people out on the square and of course, for the Pope.
