(-ONLY VIDEO-) During the Prayer of the Faithful, Pope Francis took a moment to pray for Cardinal Fernando Filoni, who is in Iraq as the Pope's personal envoy.
Cardinal Filoni, who was originally supposed to accompany the Pope in South Korea, was sent to deliver spiritual and financial support to those escaping persecution from the terrorist group ISIS.
The Pope prayed for 'the suffering people of Iraq', especially for the religious minorities who have been persecuted. He also prayed that the Lord may be close to Cardinal Filoni during his mission.
