Indonesia 2017: The country will host the next Asian Youth Day!

The next Asian Youth Day will take place in Indonesia in the year 2017. The announcement ;was made by Indian Cardinal Oswald Gracias as the Pope concluded the closing Mass for Asian Youth Day in South Korea. ;

Christians are a minority in Indonesia. The majority of the country is Muslim, but Catholics make up 3.5 percent of the population which breaks out to roughly 7.5 million people. ;
