The Vatican's Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue issued a message congratulating 'Muslim brothers and sisters' on the feast of 'Id Al-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan. In the message, Card. Jean-Louis Tauran invokes John Paul II and Pope Francis' words in calling for greater respect, and cooperation, 'especially in areas where Muslims and Christians together suffer the horrors of war.'
