July 8, 2014. The Vatican published its annual ;consolidated finanacial statements ;for the Holy See and the Vatican City State. The ;2013 budget for the Holy See, largely consisting of operational expenses for the Roman Curia and its nunciatures, showed a ;negative balance of EUR 24.5 million. However, dioceses around the world donated EUR 22,435,359, while the Vatican Bank contributed EUR 50 million. The ;budget for the Vatican City State, which includes the Vatican Museum and the administration of Vatican territory, ended with a ;surplus of EUR 33 million. ;
