'Coming up, we will have Mass at Santa Marta, with a few people who suffered from abuse, and then meeting with them, me and the group.â?
The private meeting on Monday, July 7, will include very few people. Pope Francis himself revealed where the victims come from, all within Europe.

'Two are from Germany, two from England, or Ireland, I'm not sure. Eight total, right? With Card. O'Malley, who's part of the commission. We need to move forward on this. Zero tolerance.â?
Leading up to the event, the Commission for the Protection of Minors, presided by Card. Sean O'Malley, will meet on Sunday.
They are drafting new statutes, and coming up with a new structure. The goal is to help the wounds of abuse heal, to prevent abuse and to make it a priority for the entire Church, to solve this problem.

'A priest that does this betrays the Body of the Lord, because these priests need to lead this boy, this girl, this young man, this young woman, to holiness. And this boy, this girl, they trust him. And this priest, instead of leading them to holiness, abuses them. This is very serious.â?
The Commission for the Protection of Minors is also looking into adding members from Asia and Africa, which are currently not represented.
