Pope Francis is the most influential Twitter user in the world. For each tweet published he receives an average 10,000 retweets in his Spanish account and more than 6,400 in English.
This is was indicated in a study by 'Twiplomacy 2014â?, which aims to identify how world leaders use Twitter.
According to their report, the most used words in his tweets are God, Jesus and love.
In June, the Pope's Twitter account reached 14 million followers. He became the second most followed world leader after Barack Obama, who has 43 million followers.
Francis' tweets are published in nine languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish and Latin. The Spanish account has the most followers, with more than 6 million users.
