He started rapping at the age of 17, and became a priest when he was 30. Since then, he feels called 'to bring the Gospel outside the walls, thru poetry, music, and film.â?
Fr. Pontifex has two albums: Ordained, and The Symphonic and The Static. The last one focuses on the joys and hardships of life.
One of his most celebrated songs is 'Count The Cost,' a reflection on love and sacrifice. It features compelling lyrics and images.
He is not only a music composer and parish priest in Indiana. Fr. Claude Burns is also the spiritual guide of Spirit Juice Studios, a faith-based design and production house.
Fr. Pontifex is currently working on his next album, titled 'The Invincibles.' With it, he hopes to continue incorporating the New Evangelization into modern culture.
