Ecumenical Patriarch will travel to Rome for prayer for peace on June 8

June 3, 2014. Ecumemical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew will also travel to the Vatican on June 8, to join Pope Francis in his prayer for peace in the Holy Land. The Pope had invited Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli President Shimon Peres to his 'home,' during his apostolic visit last month, where he met with the Patriarch. ;
