May 5, 2014. Pope Francis met with Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne, archbishop of Lima (Peru), with Msgr. Marek Solczynyski, Apostolic Nuncio to Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, with bishops of Burundi's Bishops Conference that came to Rome in their 'ad limina' visit. He also met with Cardinal Jaime Ortega y Alamino, Archbishop of San Cristobal de la Habana (Cuba), and with the Swiss Guard.
